HelmPilot

The project manager your grant can't afford.

HelmPilot helps research teams turn the commitments already made in a proposal into a practical system for tracking milestones, deliverables, deadlines, progress, and reporting risk.

So you can spend less time reconstructing what was promised—and more time doing the work.

First-cohort pricing: $1,200/year for a standard PI workspace.

We're onboarding a limited number of research teams through a personally guided evaluation process.

The problem

Research oversight shouldn't depend on heroics.

PIs and research administrators already have demanding jobs. Keeping a funded project aligned with what was promised shouldn't require another one.

Start with what the project already promised.

HelmPilot uses the project proposal and related documents to help organize the commitments that matter during execution.

How it works

From proposal to working project oversight.

1

Identify the commitments

HelmPilot helps surface objectives, milestones, deliverables, reporting obligations, dates, and other project commitments for review.

2

Keep progress current

Track what has happened, what is coming next, and where attention is needed.

3

See reporting and execution risk earlier

HelmPilot helps identify approaching commitments, overdue work, and gaps before they become last-minute reporting problems.

What you get

Built for the work between award and closeout.

See what you committed to.

Review project commitments in one place instead of repeatedly reconstructing them from source documents.

Keep progress visible.

Capture lightweight updates as milestones, deliverables, and reporting periods move forward.

Prepare for reporting as the project runs.

Maintain a clearer record of progress instead of rebuilding the project history when a report is due.

See trouble earlier.

Surface approaching deadlines, incomplete commitments, and execution risk while there is still time to respond.

Guided evaluation

See whether HelmPilot fits your project before you buy.

First-cohort HelmPilot evaluations are personally guided by Algorail AI. This isn't a passive self-service trial. We'll work with you to understand the project, get the workspace ready, review what HelmPilot identifies, and see whether it fits the way your team actually works.

The guided evaluation lasts 14 days, beginning when your HelmPilot workspace is ready and the initial project materials have been processed.

During the evaluation, we'll:

  • Get the workspace ready and walk through it together
  • Review the commitments HelmPilot identifies
  • Check how HelmPilot fits an active project workflow
  • Address anything that doesn't look right
  • Discuss whether it makes sense to continue with a paid workspace before the evaluation ends

There is no obligation to purchase after the evaluation. If you decide HelmPilot is useful, we'll work with you and your institution on the appropriate purchasing process.

Request a guided evaluation

Tell us a little about you and the project you're working on.

We do not ask you to upload a proposal or other project documents as part of this initial request. We'll discuss appropriate materials with you directly if we move forward with an evaluation.

We'll respond within one business day.

HelmPilot evaluations are scheduled directly with Algorail AI rather than started automatically.
